Contiki, es un sistema operativo diseñado específicamente para que lo puedan utilizar las 'cosas' que se conectan al Internet de las cosas. Proporciona comunicaciones de baja potencia para Internet y es compatible con los estándares IPv6 e IPv4, así como con los estándares para comunicaciones inalámbricas de baja potencia 6lowpan, RPL yCoAP.
